State-of-the-art computerized training and testing/evaluating services are available at Albany Technical College’s Adult Computer Testing (ACT) Center. These are valuable services for individuals, employers and professional organizations using computer-based technologies and the Internet. It is a comprehensive and dynamic resource for developing a community’s workforce and economy. The ACT Center is a “corporate university” for businesses of all sizes interested in keeping their workforce competitive but lacking the technology or financial resources to develop and to administer their own training programs. There currently are almost 2,800 courses available that can be taken either in the ACT Center’s well equipped computer lab, exported directly to your business work stations, or in the privacy of your own home. There are courses for every individual, group or business needs.
