Albany Tech/Albany State sign Business Logistics Management educational agreement |
December 4, 2008 – On December 4, 2008, the Presidents of Albany Technical College and Albany State University will sign an agreement that provides more seamless educational opportunities for many south Georgians. The exciting partnership allows students to reach higher educational goals and become leaders in the logistics workforce.
Albany Tech students who successfully earn an associate degree in Business Logistics Management can move into the corresponding bachelor’s degree program at Albany State.
The collaboration allows ATC graduates to start or advance in careers in the logistics field while continuing their education and training. The two-and-two agreement is the seventh of its kind between the two colleges. Other partnerships include: Marketing, Accounting, Early Childhood Care and Education, Law Enforcement, Computer Information Systems, and an online based Bachelor of Applied Science program.
The signing will take place in the President’s Board Room located on the second floor of the Kirkland Building at Albany Technical College at 2:30pm on December 4th.
