Albany Tech Titans take on the South Georgia Tech Jets for Student Appreciation Night

February 3, 2009 – The Albany Tech Titans take on the South Georgia Technical College Jets on Wednesday, February 4, 2009. The first 100 fans will receive a free prize.

The Titans are 15 and eight on the season and three and four in conference play. They’ve only lost one home game. Titans Head Coach Sylvester Patterson is encouraging students and all fans to come out and cheer on the team as they take on a big southwest Georgia rival!

“We’re hoping to avenge the loss we suffered to the Jets earlier in the season,” said Patterson. “We’re a stronger team now, and we’re ready to win in front of a big home crowd.”

Tip-off is at 7:00pm Wednesday at Albany State University’s HPER gymnasium. Admission is free for students, with valid student ID. Children 11 and under get in free. Admission is $3 for fans 12 to 18 years old. Adults are $5.
