July 22, 2016 - Albany, GA - Albany Technical College’s Continuing Education department will be offering ballroom dancing classes in the Center for Business Solutions at Albany Tech classroom on Thursday nights from 7pm to 8:30pm beginning August 11th and ending September 15th.

A six-week course featuring Swing, Jitterbug, and the Cha Cha, the class is sure to offer fun, fellowship, and exercise. Michelle Oaks, who has been teaching ballroom dance for 19 years, will be heading up the classes. Couples in the community are invited to take date night to a whole new level by taking these classes.

“We decided to offer Swing, Jitterbug and Cha Cha, because those are three very versatile dances that are enjoyed in social settings like weddings, parties, and class reunions,” said Oaks. “Couples will not only have fun on class nights, but they can also take what they learned and enjoy dancing to all kinds of music for the rest of their lives.”

The cost for the class is $130 per couple. For more information, or to register, call 229.430.3867. Or, email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
