TCSG only accepts high school transcripts from the following accreditation agencies. Acceptable accreditation must be in place when the diploma was granted. The following agencies are approved:

Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools
Educational institutions in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands, as well as schools for American children in Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East.
New England Association of Schools and Colleges
Educational institutions in the six New England states: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
North Central Association of Colleges and Schools
Educational institutions in Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, New Mexico, South Dakota, Wisconsin, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
Northwest Association of Accredited Schools - for primary and secondary schools, and Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities for postsecondary institutions in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington.

Each regional agency has full accrediting authority for both grade schools (primary and secondary) and colleges (postsecondary), with the exception of the northwest region, for which responsibility is divided between two separate accreditation agencies (NAAS for grade schools, NCCU for colleges).
It is the responsibility of the applicant to find out if their school is accredited by one of these agencies before applying for admissions. Applicants may want to seek help from the high school’s Principal or the Admissions Office to find out the name of the accrediting agency. Graduation from a high school accredited by one of these agencies is required for graduation from Albany Technical College.
