Located in Freedom Hall, Room 111, the AAC for English provides the lab component for students in Learning Support courses for Reading 095, 096, 097 and 098. Students work on MyReadingLab assignments and have assistance from the on-site faculty and specialized tutors.
The goal of the AAC Reading Center is to develop vocabulary skills, reading comprehension, study skills and test taking techniques. Extra attention is given to Learning Support students to help them meet requirements for their classes.
Learning Support students may also use the AAC Reading Center for guided instruction for enhancing reading skills during open lab hours.
