Albany Tech students win at state SkillsUSA competition

May 15, 2009 – Seven Albany Technical College students placed at the Georgia SkillsUSA Competition held April 17-19, 2009. SkillsUSA is a national nonprofit organization serving teachers, as well as high school and college students, who are preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations including health occupations. Founder of Albany Tech’s EMS program, Dr. Charles Gillespie, receives resolution from state lawmakers



May 13, 2009 – Members of the Region Eight EMS Council presented Charles B. Gillespie, M.D. with two state resolutions during a meeting at Albany Technical College on May 13, 2009.
