Albany Technical College to host Informational Luncheons for Clergy

February 16, 2009 - Albany Technical College will host the fourth annual workshop and luncheon for area clergy on February 17, 2008 from 11:00a.m. until 1:30p.m. in the Kirkland Conference Center. The theme for the luncheon is “Building Stronger Families through Technical Education.” The purpose of this event is to provide information to clergy in our community about educational choices at Albany Tech, financial aid options and employment opportunities available to graduates. The Reverend Chuck Mathis, the Senior Pastor of First Mount Moriah Baptist Church, will be the keynote speaker.  READ MORE!

Albany Tech launches announces new Plumbing instructor

– Albany Technical College is pleased to welcome Master Plumber Mark Crawford, of Americus, to its faculty. Crawford boasts more than 30-years experience in the plumbing and construction industries. He has owned Americus Plumbing Company since 2000. Crawford began teaching plumbing courses in the summer of 2008 as an adjunct instructor.   READ MORE!
