American Proteins Donates Scholarship to ATC Foundation

December 9, 2014- Albany, GA- Norman Barber, Human Resources and Safety Manager for American Proteins, Inc., presented Dr. Anthony Parker, President of Albany Tech, with a check for $8,000 for the Foundation's scholarship funds today. This is the ninth year in a row American Proteins has given the donation to the Albany Tech Foundation.

Lanier Technical College is the TCSG 2014 College of the Year; Albany Technical College a Runner Up

December 8, 2014- Albany, GA- The State Board of the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) has selected Lanier Technical College in Oakwood, Georgia as this year's recipient of their Perdue Award for the TCSG Technical College of the Year. Board Approves Gretchen Corbin to be the Next Commissioner of the Technical College System of Georgia

December 4, 2014- Atlanta, GA- The State Board of the Technical College System of Georgia has given their approval to Governor Nathan Deal's nomination of Gretchen Corbin as the system's next commissioner.

Albany Tech Paramedic Student Presented with Grainger Tools for Tomorrow Scholarship

December 5, 2014- Albany, GA- Grainger recently awarded Albany Technical College Paramedic Technology student, Michael Carroll, with their Tools for Tomorrow® scholarship, which includes $2,000 to be used toward his final year of college. Upon graduation, Carroll will also receive a customized Westward® tool kit to help him begin his professional career.

ATC Holds Fall Commencement Exercises

December 3, 2014- Albany, GA- Albany Technical College will hold Fall Commencement Exercises on Thursday, December 4, 2014, at 7pm, at the James H. Gray Civic Center in Albany.
