Drafting Technology

Description
Students prepare for careers in the mechanical, architectural or electronic drafting fields. Students learn to design working drawing from preliminary sketches and specifications on the CAD system. Additional training allows students to calculate the strength, size and cost of materials.

Career Options
Drafters, CAD operators, detailers, equipment and supplies salespersons and reproduction technicians.

Requirements
Diploma program: 77 credit hours or 18 months for full-time student.

Associate Degree program: 94 credit hours or 24 months for full-time student.
