Albany, Georgia- Albany Technical College has been selected as a recipient of a $50,000 Defense Grant, offered by the Technical College System of Georgia Office of Workforce Development. This will directly impact the lives of military personnel and their spouses in the local community. Albany Technical College entered into a one-year agreement with the City and County Governments of Albany, Dougherty County. A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed.

Business Technology Program Refresh Event. June 14th 2021.

Albany, Georgia Albany Technical College will have a virtual live Facebook presentation featuring Business Technology, Tuesday, June 15, at 10 a. m. in Prosperity Hall (PRO) building, room 106.  A small group of faculty, staff, and former students will be on hand during the event which will highlight what is new in the program as well as expected outcomes for graduates. The presentation will include information about the degree and diploma that are available in the Business Technology program. 

Albany Technical College Alumni Survey.

Albany, Georgia – In March, Albany Technical College announced 60 years in service to the community and kicked off the official celebration. The college’s theme for the 60th Anniversary is "A Tradition of Success," symbolizing Albany Tech's service to the region for 60 years. Albany Tech will celebrate this momentous occasion through stories. The college is asking community members and alumni and current students, faculty, and staff to share success stories and milestones from our 60-year history.

Albany, Georgia Albany Technical College will have a virtual live Facebook presentation featuring Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management, Tuesday, May 25, at 10 a. m. in Freedom Hall (FRE) building, room 108.  A small group of faculty, staff and former students will be on hand during the event which will highlight what is new in the program as well as expected outcomes for graduates.  The presentation will include information about the degree and diploma as well as the embedded technical certificate of credits that are available in the Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management program.

ALBANY, GA – Three years after the devastation of Hurricane Michael, Albany Technical College and Southern Regional Technical College continues to support Southwest Georgia’s continued recovery effort through workforce development, career training, and education. Thanks to the Georgia Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) Program, they will soon be able to do even more for students. This project will be called the Rebuild Southwest Georgia Workforce Recovery Training Program - Hurricane Michael.
