Job Description & Responsibilities:

Shipping and receiving: Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments of gear, equipment, or other supplies. Compare quantities with shipping documentation to ensure accuracy. Inventory management: Store equipment and supplies in the correct warehouse locations and track inventory using a warehouse management system. Conduct regular inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels. Order fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping, verifying that the contents match the order for accuracy. Logistics support: Perform other warehousing duties like issuing, reconstituting, and shipping bulk and individual gear. This may involve specific military equipment, such as Infantry Combat Equipment (ICE), CBRN Defense Equipment, or soft-walled shelters. Equipment operation: Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner. Warehouse maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all safety and compliance standards. Documentation and reporting: Accurately process receipt documents, manage data entry, and track the movement of inventory.

Qualifications:

Experience: 2 years including demonstrated understanding of MCLB’s Storage Plan. Certifications: Ability to obtain a forklift safety certification may be required. Education required: HS Diploma Attention to detail: Strong organizational skills and a high degree of accuracy are crucial for managing inventory and order fulfillment. Teamwork: Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively with other team members.
