Character
Displays loyalty; honesty; trustworthiness; dependability; reliability; initiative; self-discipline; self-responsibility; academic integrity; and responsibility. Upon completion of this lesson, students will understand the importance of developing positive character traits. In addition, the following objectives should be met:
- Understand the importance of a proper attitude in the workplace.
- Identify and distinguish between valuable character traits.
- Improve upon character traits to increase job performance.
- Understand accomplishing personal goals due to self-discipline and self-responsibility.
OVERVIEW
Desirable character traits include those of responsibility, loyalty, honesty, trustworthiness, dependability, reliability, initiative and self-discipline. Employers as well as instructors require evidence of these traits from their subordinates.
