Respects the rights of others; respects confidentiality; is a team worker; is cooperative; is assertive; displays a customer service attitude; seeks opportunities for continuous learning; demonstrates mannerly behavior. Respects rights of others; demonstrates mannerly behavior in interactions with students and instructor. Upon completion of this lesson, students will understand the importance of working in teams. In addition, the following objectives should be met:
- Understand the dynamics of a "team".
- Identify what it means to work collaboratively.
- Learn what is expected from employers when working in teams.
- Describe effective ways to work within teams.
OVERVIEW
It is vital that employees work as a team. It is important not only to their personal success and advancement, but also to that of their co-workers and to the company. The supervisor will look for these traits, and those workers who exhibit them will be rewarded.
