Colleagues, as previously expressed, when public health information pertaining to the Coronavirus develops, we will continue to keep you informed of the latest and updated correspondence. Also, please be mindful that it is of the utmost importance that we follow all universal precautions and measures that have been recommended to prevent the spread of any respiratory virus. These measures are as follow:

  • Wash hands with soapy water for at least 30 seconds
  • Avoid touching eyes, nose & mouth with unwashed hands
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick. The Department of Public Health recommend-if you are sick stay at home!
  •  Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue and dispense the tissue after use.
  • Use hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol, if soap and water are not readily available. Sanitizer dispensers have been replenished and strategically placed in common places throughout the campus.
  • Routinely clean frequently touched surfaces (e.g., doorknobs, light switches, countertops, elevator door buttons, and countertops. Wipe down your work area with Clorox wipes. Use all cleaning products according to the directions on the label’
  • The GEL IN! GEL OUT! POSTERS have been placed throughout the campus in common areas as a reminder!

PLEASE NOTE: Facilities has a sufficient amount of Clorox wipes and hand sanitizer gel in stock. In an effort to ensure balanced distribution of materials throughout the campus, we asked that only one designated person request refills for the respective departments.  As always, we appreciate your relentless support.
