Albany Technical College Showcases Continuing Education Courses with an Online Event Highlighting Online Courses in Continuing Education

Albany, GA - Albany Technical College presents the 'Continuing Education Online Refresh' event on Thursday, August 24th at 10 am. This event will showcase the vast Continuing Education opportunities catering to professional and personal growth. This event will be held via WebEx.

The live online event promises a comprehensive overview of what Albany Technical College offers in continuing education, focusing on online options. The occasion will kick off with an introductory address by the President of Albany Technical College, setting the stage for insights into the core objectives and relevance of the Continuing Education programs. Attendees will be walked through the Continuing Education section of the website, enriched by genuine student experiences.

During the Online Refresh, attendees will learn about the opportunity for students in our region to utilize the Rebuild Southwest Georgia Grant to take advantage of Continuing Education courses.

"With funding opportunities now available and the many format options, from evening classes to online courses, Continuing Education is now accessible to everyone. It is the cornerstone of lifelong learning, and often provides the catalyst for people who want to advance in their career or change careers,” shared Matt Trice, Vice President of Economic Development Programs at Albany Technical College.

Albany Technical College's Continuing Education programs are specifically designed to equip participants with invaluable skills without the prerequisite of earning college credits. Most of these courses offer flexible schedules, making them accessible to all interested learners. Online courses provide total convenience for the student and supplement Albany Tech’s catalog of on-campus and hybrid Continuing Education courses. With online courses, the student can learn whenever their schedule allows them to do so. This makes Albany Tech’s partnership with respected providers like Ed2Go and Career Step so vital.
