SMART POLICING FOR A CHANGING WORLD

In keeping with the spirit of building positive relations between law enforcement and the community, Albany Technical College is proud to host the second Annual Criminal Justice & Law Enforcement Summit. This significant event is presented by the Albany Technical College Police Department in partnership with other criminal justice agency affiliates, and is designed to strengthen community engagement and foster trust through professional collaboration and education.

The 2026 conference theme is: “Smart Policing for a Changing World.”

The purpose of the conference is to professionalize the emerging community engagement sector of policing by instituting specialized training, networking, and professional development for sworn and non-sworn personnel assigned to community engagement roles within criminal justice and law enforcement agencies.

The summit provides a platform for justice and law enforcement professionals to learn from national experts, share best practices, and develop collaborative solutions to today’s most pressing public safety challenges.

We invite agencies, practitioners, and sponsors to join us in shaping the future of community-oriented policing and justice reform.

Sponsorship opportunities are now available, offering a chance to support this vital conversation and directly contribute to meaningful change across communities.

We anticipate participation from local, state, and national agencies, making this a truly impactful and wide-reaching event.

Hurry, registration ends July 31.
