Culinary Arts is a program of study at Albany Technical College that focuses on training students to become professional chefs and prepare a variety of foods. The program typically includes coursework in areas such as food safety, kitchen management, baking and pastry, and culinary arts. Students may also have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a commercial kitchen setting through internships or other experiential learning opportunities. Upon completion of the program, graduates should have the skills and knowledge needed to work in a variety of culinary-related positions, such as chefs, line cooks, and food service managers.
