Albany Technical College COVID-19 Communication To Students

We take the health and safety of our students, faculty and staff, very seriously. Students, please note the following:

  • If a class you enrolled in is moving to an online format, you will receive an email from your instructor. They will provide you with the next steps and information on how to access your course online.
  • Class room instructions will be delivered remotely through Blackboard until further notice. In-person learning environments have been suspended until March 31st, 2020. Instructors are actively developing lab schedules for students to receive in-person individualized instructions for those courses that have lab hour components.
  • Check ATC email account for messages from instructors or instructional plans for the week.
  • Call or email instructors for clarification or questions.
  • Monitor ATC's website for updates. Check the front page or albanytech.edu/coronavirus.
  • Classes have not been canceled. Effective immediately, all academic credit courses will be offered 100% online or web-enhanced format.
  • Spring break (A and C Term) has been moved to March 23-27,2020.
  • ATC's computer labs and library are closed per a governor issued executive order.
  • Pre-registration Summer 2020 and Fall 2020 begins April 1st, 2020.

Normal operating Hours are 8AM to 5PM Monday-Thursday and 8AM to 4PM on Friday.

We will continue to provide guidance as it becomes available from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), Technical College System of Georgia, state mandates, etc.
