Albany Technical College Celebrates a 100% Pass Rate for the 2023 EMT Cohort

ALBANY, GA - Albany Technical College (ATC) is pleased to announce that their 2023 EMT Cohort has achieved a remarkable 100% pass rate on both the Psychomotor Skills Exam and the Cognitive Exam during the week of July 24. This outstanding accomplishment certifies them at the EMT level through the National Registry Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).

"I've had the privilege of watching these students evolve and mature into their professions. Their journey from day one to now truly reflects their commitment and dedication. I couldn't be prouder of this group and all they have accomplished," remarked Tracie Naylor-Griffin, BS, NRP, Chair/Instructor of the Paramedicine Program.

Once these students are certified, they will be eligible to acquire their Georgia EMT License, enabling them to start their promising careers in the Emergency Medical Services profession.

Historically, Albany Tech boasts a 100% employment rate for its graduates from the EMT/Paramedicine program, highlighting the program's effectiveness and the high demand for these trained professionals in the field.

The Paramedicine associate degree and diploma programs at Albany Tech are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs, upon the recommendation of the Commission on Accreditation for the EMS Professions, assuring that students receive the highest quality of education.
