Communications Officer II- Night Shift

Job Description & Responsibilities:

The purpose of this classification is to provide on-the-job training to newly hired Communications Officers, to answer and process emergency and non-emergency calls through the E-911 Communications Center, and to dispatch emergency personnel and first responder.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; supplemented by one year of experience in emergency communications; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Specific Licenses or Certifications Required: Must possess and maintain Basic Communications Officer and GCIC/NCIC Operator certification.
