Job Description & Responsibilities:
This is routine manual work exercising maximum supervision over custodial personnel in the performance of routine cleaning duties. The Custodial Lead's work involves responsibility for a variety of cleaning tasks performed in and around buildings. Employees of this class work independently and reviews work performed by a group of custodial employees. Supervision is received from the Manager who checks work for adherence to establish practices and schedules. Sponsorship is not available for this position. Responsibilities Supervises and participates in sweeping, dusting, waxing mopping, scrubbing, washing windows, walls, doors, floors, furniture and other equipment in and around buildings and grounds. Delivers, receives and transport goods to buildings. Serves as lead person for special projects crew. Assumes some Superintendent duties in Superintendent's absence. Trains employees. Weekend and after normal hours duties will be required. Performs other duties as assigned.
