Job Description & Responsibilities:
Job Summary The Facilities Assistant Manager supports the Facilities Manager in overseeing the facility’s daily preventative/corrective maintenance while prioritizing a safe work environment. They ensure the proper operation of all company-owned assets such as material handling equipment, automated conveyors, packaging equipment, HVAC units, lighting & electrical systems, plumbing and general maintenance of shared office areas, including any capital improvements. The Facilities Assistant Manager maintains an understanding of operational protocols, aiming to enhance the efficiency of the DC and help the Facilities Manager problem-solve challenges presented by employees and members of the leadership team. They also help oversee the general cleanliness and sanitation of the facility via a custodial team.
Qualifications
Assists with the management and training of up to 15+ facilities/maintenance employees to fulfil the needs of the department on all shifts. This includes preventative and corrective maintenance, cleaning and sanitation, and general capital improvements to the facility.
Salary:
$70,000 - $80,000
