Job Description & Responsibilities:
Job duties may include: Operating tractors, combines, sprayers, hay equipment and other farm machinery. Row-crop planting, spraying, harvesting, and general row crop work. Pecan orchard maintenance and harvesting. Cutting, raking, baling and handling hay. Feeding, caring for and monitoring calves. Cleaning and maintaining livestock facilities. General farm maintenance and upkeep. Equipment maintenance and basic repairs. Other duties associated with a large working farm.
Qualifications:
Must be dependable, willing to work and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Farm experience preferred. Is safety-minded and takes care of equipment. Experience operating farm equipment is a plus. Livestock experience is a plus. Must be able to follow directions and work independently. Valid driver’s license preferred. CDL is a plus, but not required.
