Job Description & Responsibilities:
Landscaping & Turf Management: Mowing, edging, and trimming lawns; planting, pruning, and caring for trees, shrubs, and flowers. Grounds Cleaning: Raking leaves, weeding, and clearing debris from sidewalks, parking lots, and walkways. Seasonal Maintenance: Removing snow and ice, spreading salt on walkways, and preparing for campus events. Equipment Operation: Operating and performing minor maintenance on mowers, tractors, blowers, chainsaws, and utility vehicles. Waste Management: Emptying campus trash and recycling containers. Safety & Compliance: Applying pesticides and herbicides according to safety regulations; reporting hazards to supervisors. Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED. 1 year of previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or a related field. Valid driver's license in good standings.
Salary:
Salary is commensurate with experience and education.
