As Shipboard Human Resources Manager, you will perform multiple responsibilities to support our HR service delivery model. You will be the primary contact for Crew employee relations, performance management, and Human Resources initiatives while collaborating with leaders, building positive relationships and being a trusted advisor. Be genuinely interested in a career at sea and willing to live and work onboard a Disney Cruise Line vessel. You will report to: Manager, Human Resources (shipboard). Level: 2 ½ Stripes Responsibilities: How You Will Make a Difference Effectively handle employee related issues with confidentiality and fairness while mentoring leaders on the handling of disciplinary issues. Partner with leadership to assess, design and facilitate leadership development programs that support their growth and success. Conducts need assessments to identify key opportunities in training, communication, organizational efficiency, etc. Champion the crew committees which are passionate about overall welfare onboard.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications: What You Will Bring to the Team. Minimum of 2 years' experience working within a Human Resources operation; Depth of experience in at least one HR functional Areas: Learning and Development, Organizational Development, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, Compliance, and/or Workforce Planning & Administration. Minimum of 1 year in a leadership and/or Operations role. Proven understanding and experience of Employee Relations and/or Performance Management concepts and practices. Preferred Qualifications: How You Will Stand Out. Shipboard Experience. Your Responsibilities: Have a valid passport and C1/D Seaman's visa (DCL will provide you with documents to obtain this) Complete a pre-employment medical Obtain a criminal background check Bring approved work shoes.
