Job Description & Responsibilities:

The purpose of this classification is to perform routine general office and clerical tasks in support of assigned department/division. Duties Performs a variety of clerical tasks; compiles, verifies, and enters computerized data; processes a variety of reports, invoices, work orders, and related documents; performs duties related to special assignments or programs. Answers telephone and responds to inquiries or complaints; provides information, takes/relays messages; refers to the appropriate individual or department as needed. Performs a variety of general office tasks such as typing, copying, faxing, filing, sorting, collating, and performing related tasks. Performs routine file maintenance; updates, researches or retrieves files as directed; may maintain payroll records for the division. Orders, receives, stocks, and/or distributes supplies as needed. May interview and process clients or client information; may assist clients per department policy by performing related specialized assistance. Attends meetings as directed. May pick up and deliver supplies or documents; receives, sorts, and distributes incoming mail; prepares or packages outgoing mail. May prepare a variety of reservations, appointments, and related schedules; maintains schedule calendar. May operate a two-way radio in performance of assigned duties.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; some experience and/or training involving general office tasks strongly preferred; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. May be required to possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver's license. Must be able to type at least 30 wpm.

Salary:

$32,136.00 Annually
