Job Description & Responsibilities:
JOB SUMMARY: The School Food Service Worker is responsible for the preparation, cooking, and serving of food in a school cafeteria. This position ensures that all meals meet nutritional guidelines and are served in a timely and sanitary manner. The worker also assists with cleaning and maintaining the kitchen and cafeteria facilities.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent; Previous experience in food service, particularly in a school setting, is preferred but not required; Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate.
