Job Description & Responsibilities:
Researches financial reports and resolves undistributed collections to expedite processing of child support payments in accordance with federal, state, and agency procedures. Interacts with field and state office personnel to ensure any financial problems are addressed quickly and efficiently to ensure child support payments are disbursed timely. Performs other professional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor, manager, director, or leadership team.
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED AND Two (2) years of job-related accounting or fiscal experience. OR One (1) year of experience at the lower level Accounting Technician Trainee (FIT019) or equivalent position. Preferred Skills/Qualifications Preference will be given to candidates who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, demonstrate some or all of the following skills/experience: Bachelor’s degree in business curriculum from an approved, accredited college or university AND Two (2) years of work experience performing accounting or fiscal control functions. Associate’s degree in business curriculum from an approved, accredited college or university AND Two (2) years of work experience performing accounting or fiscal control functions. Four (4) years of experience performing accounting and/or fiscal control functions.
