Job Description & Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following: Order all parts notated on the Used Car Inspection (UCI) for inventory vehicles Orders parts daily for Service writers and mechanics Order keys Receive and check in parts daily Write purchase orders for parts as they arrive Notifies the individuals concerned of the arrival of specially ordered parts promptly If parts are for inventory vehicles, send an email out requesting the vehicle in service Once the vehicle gets to the shop, create a Repair Order (RO) Give RO to the Shop Manager Ensure technicians turn in defective parts necessary for warranty scrap and tag them appropriately Determine appropriate inventory levels and ensure periodic parts turnover Adjust stock to eliminate the accumulation of unused or old parts Assists the Manager in the redistribution of old inventory Confirming that parts are appropriately coded so the dealership can claim a complete refund for unused factory stock Maintain records of all parts and special-order parts inventory in a clean and orderly manner Ensures that the area set aside for parts is clean and tidy

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) High school diploma or equivalent Efficient Time Management skills Attention to detail Organized Excellent ability to multitask Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential Ability to work well as a team Excellent oral and communication skills

Salary:

$17 - $19/hr
