Job Description & Responsibilities:
Job Description: Under the direct supervision of the Compliance Supervisor the Compliance Examiner will be responsible for helping to ensure providers and parents within the CAPS Program are in compliance with federal rules and regulations. To ensure compliance, the Compliance Examiner will conduct complaint investigations/reviews of payments made to providers who participate in the CAPS Program based on established policy, federal and state laws and rules and regulations. The Compliance Examiner will also review parent cases to determine if eligibility was correctly determined. The Compliance Examiner will assist other Compliance Examiners in group complaint investigations and assist the Compliance Supervisor/Manager with other duties as assigned. The Compliance Examiner will be required to maintain knowledge of changes in federal rules and regulations and state policies for the CAPS Program to perform the duties of this position. The position is mobile and requires statewide travel with some trips to Atlanta headquarters. Mileage and overnight stay reimbursement are provided for work related travel. Possession of a valid driver’s license, consistent access to an insured vehicle, and the ability to travel is required as a condition of employment.
Qualifications
Required Minimum Qualification: High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of job-related experience. Note: Some positions may require a valid driver's license. Preferred Qualifications: Two years working with CAPS program policies and procedures. Knowledge of CCDF Regulations, one year working within the GACAPS, Gateway, Koala, GAPREK, and document imaging systems. One year investigative experience with a state or federal government entity.
Salary:
$44,998.81 - $59,143.37
