Job Description & Responsibilities:
The Dougherty County EMS Department is hiring on a continuous basis for a full-time Emergency Medical Technician - Advanced. The purpose of this position is to provide emergency medical treatment to sick or injured persons at the Advanced EMT level. This class works under close to general supervision according to set procedures but determines how or when to complete tasks.
Qualifications
Special Certifications And Licenses: • State of Georgia AEMT License. • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving history. REQUIRED AT INTERVIEW: VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE, THREE (3) YEAR MVR DRIVING HISTORY, HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT, CURRENT LEVEL OF TRAINING LICENSE, STATE CERTIFICATION, CURRENT CPR CARD, CURRENT ACLS, AND ANY OTHER RELATED CERTIFICATE(S) AND/OR DOCUMENT(S).
