Job Description & Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities: Process and monitor insurance billing and follow up of claims for multiple locations. Investigate historical data for unpaid insurance claims. Resolve insurance processing issues. Update account status records and collection efforts. Report on insurance collection activity and accounts receivable status. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities. Proven experience as an Insurance Collection Specialist or similar role. Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques. Working knowledge of MS Office and databases. Comfortable working with targets. Patience and ability to manage stress. Excellent communication skills (written and oral). Skilled in negotiation. Problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

High school diploma. Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
