Job Description & Responsibilities:

The Testing Specialist is responsible for assisting in all test administrations, functions, and duties of testing administered by the Testing Center. Provides support for the daily operations of the Testing Center. Sponsorship is not available for this position. Responsibilities Meet the certification and training requirements mandated by test companies to qualify as a test administrator and/or proctor. Comply with the standardized test guidelines for admission, material distribution, and monitoring of test candidates for test vendors served by the ASU Testing Center. Administer exams for ASU students and the community. Perform testing related and clerical duties in support of the daily operation of the Testing Center. Assist in establishing exam schedules and coordinating room locations. Maintain test inventory and statistics. Reports low inventory to the Testing Director. Records, investigates, and reports test irregularities. Assist in coordinating computer software and equipment updates and upgrades. Trouble-shoot minor computer technical issues and/or communicate technical concerns to IT support for ASU and test vendors. Fill in during the absence of testing staff. Evening and Saturday availability may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Test Administration preferred. Experience in working with students or the public.
